Growing up, Jason was often asked by his school teachers "What are you, some kind of comedian?" He had witty retorts to most of their comments, but never this one. Many years later, he realized why. All that time, he really was some kind of comedian - only without the microphone, slick hairdo, and paying audience.

Today, while his coworkers are very nice people (most of the time), they are often pretty serious. The computer he works/fights with is sometimes funny, but it has little or no ability to work a crowd.

To escape from these things, Jason decided to add more humor to his life by becoming involved with the Seattle comedy scene.

When Jason is not performing stand-up, he enjoys running and cycling insane distances. This keeps him sane. He is also a musician and enjoys singing and playing songs that are not very funny.
